Getting authorised for Targeted Support is the visible milestone. The harder part is everything that comes after: building segmentation that survives scrutiny, decision logic you can reproduce and explain months later, and journeys that reach the many without harming the vulnerable few.

Most firms are caught in a gap. Compliance advisers bring regulatory depth; systems integrators bring technical delivery. But Targeted Support demands both: segmentation, decision logic and governance that work in practice and can be reproduced, explained and evidenced under scrutiny.

Over 15 years in FCA-regulated financial services, most recently as VP of Data and Technology at Swiss Re, where I led the data and systems behind regulated decisions at scale.

I work at the intersection of regulatory depth and technical build, with experience in both FCA-focused advisory work and implementation. That combination matters in Targeted Support, where defensibility depends on both regulatory judgment and practical build execution.

I started this practice because Targeted Support is about to put thousands of firms in exactly that gap, running a service that works, with an open question about whether it would hold up when someone asks them to prove it.
